Mercy Health – St. Rita Medical Center Received an “A” Grade Spring Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

LIMA — For the tenth consecutive time, Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center has received an “A” grade in the Spring Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a national honor recognizing these hospitals’ achievements in safer healthcare.

The Leapfrog Group, an independent national monitoring organization, rates general hospitals across the country from A to F based on more than thirty national performance measures reflecting the prevention of errors, injuries, accidents and infections. , as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.

Mercy Health – St. Anne Hospital and Mercy Health – Defiance Hospital in Toledo as well as Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital and The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health in Cincinnati also earned A grades.
